our community table sponsorship program
Fostering diversity in the arts community
Artists of colour bring a wealth of diverse experiences that are vital to the cultural vibrancy of the literary landscape. At dReadCon, we recognize that systemic barriers have historically limited access to opportunities and resources, resulting in inequities for many artists.
To help foster a more diverse and welcoming convention, we have introduced a Community Table Sponsorship Program. Through this initiative, we are offering ten free or subsidized table spaces specifically for Artists of Colour.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply to the Community Table Sponsorship Program before the deadline of April 14, 2026. Qualified applicants will be selected through a random draw to ensure fair and equitable access to these sponsored spaces.
SPONSOR THIS PROGRAM
Through the Community Table initiative, dRead Con works with individuals or corporate sponsors, at $50 to $150 each (at sponsor discretion) to offer upwards of ten free or subsidized table spaces specifically artists and authors of colour.
Note that in order to align with submission dates of individuals seeking sponsorship, sponsorships to become a Tale Blazer close on April 30th, 2026.
Sponsors will be thanked and acknowledged on social media platforms of the event and within the event booklet.
To promote the dignity of the program and its participants, no individual information will be shared at the event specific to individuals or businesses who are represented under this project, though a total number of sponsored tables and dollars will be shared upon event completion.
